PAPER PATTERN, AS PER ICAIPart A: 15 MCQs of 2 marks each, 30 marks, all compulsory. Part B: six descriptive questions of 14 marks. Q1 is compulsory, then any 4 of Q2 to Q6, so you write five for 70 marks. 100 marks in 3 hours, the exact ICAI pattern.
Before you start
  1. Read the first page of the question paper before you answer anything. It carries the instructions for that paper, and they are not the same every time.
  2. Write your START TIME and END TIME in the top right corner of the first page of your answer sheet. This is compulsory.
  3. Be honest about those two times. They are how the academy reads your attempt, and a paper timed wrongly tells you nothing worth having.
